BYRJA!

  • 1. SNÚA

    Þegar röðin kemur að þér skaltu snúa diskókúlunni. Þegar hún stöðvast sýnir ljósavísirinn hvaða flokk þú og andstæðingar þínir eigið að spila. [Sjá lýsingu á hverjum flokki hér að neðan.]

  • 2. SKANNA

    Plötusnúðurinn tekur tónlistarspil efst úr stokknum í valda flokknum (án þess að líta á bakhliðina) og skannar QR-kóðann með HITSTER-forritinu.

    Um leið og lagið byrjar að spilast skaltu ýta á diskókúluna til að setja tímamælinn (25 sekúndur) í gang.

  • 3. SKRIFA

    Allir leikmenn skrifa svarið sitt í hvíta reitinn á skorkortinu sínu áður en rauða ljósið á diskókúlunni blikkar til að sýna að tíminn sé útrunninn.

  • 4. SNÚA VIÐ

    Plötusnúðurinn snýr nú tónlistarspilinu við til að sýna svarið. Allir leikmenn athuga hvað þeir skrifuðu. Ef þú svaraðir rétt færðu 1 stig með því að setja kross í reit á skorkortinu þínu sem samsvarar lit flokksins.

    UPPSETNING

    • Ákveddu hvort þú viljir spila í liðum eða hver fyrir sig.
    • Veldu erfiðleikastig. Hlið A á spilaborðinu er hönnuð fyrir BYRJENDUR, hlið B fyrir SÉRFRÆÐINGA. Settu diskókúluna á miðju borðsins.
    • Settu spilastokk, með QR-kóðana upp, á hvern af fimm flokkunum á spilaborðinu.
    • Deilið skorkortunum og merkjunum á milli ykkar.
    • Opnaðu HITSTER-forritið í símanum þínum.
    • Veldu leikmann sem verður plötusnúður. Viðkomandi skannar spilin og getur samt spilað með hinum. Hafðu sama plötusnúð allan leikinn eða skiptu um leikmann, þú ræður!
    • Veldu spil af handahófi úr stokknum til að ákveða hver byrjar. Sá sem er með elsta spilið byrjar, síðan heldur leikurinn áfram réttsælis. Settu svo spilin aftur í stokkinn og byrjaðu leikinn.

    Athugaðu: Leikmenn sem eru plötusnúðar ættu ekki að vera með snjallúr (t.d. Apple Watch) meðan á leiknum stendur, þar sem á skjánum gætu birst upplýsingar um lagið.

      Lagið spilast eftir stutta 3-sekúndna niðurtalningu. Gættu þess að setja símann á hvolf áður en niðurtalningu lýkur.

    FLOKKAR

    A-side: Beginners

    • Group or solo artist

      Write down if the song is performed by a solo artist or by a group. Once revealed, the answer will show a 👥 symbol if it’s a group. Collaborations such as duets or artists featuring another artist count as groups.

    • Before 2000?

      Write ‘Yes’ if the song was released before the year 2000, ‘No’ if it was in 2000 or later.

    • 4 years up or down

      Write down the year the song was released. Score a point if your answer is within 4 years of the actual year. If you guess the year exactly, you can delete one cross from an opponent’s scorecard.

    • Decade 

      Write down the decade in which the song was released, for example, ‘1960s’ or ‘Eighties’.

    • 2 years up or down

      Write down the year the song was released. Score a point if your answer is within 2 years of the actual year. If you guess the year exactly, you can delete one cross from an opponent’s scorecard.

      B-side: Experts

      • Song title

        Write down if the song is performed by a solo artist or by a group. Once revealed, the answer will show a 👥 symbol if it’s a group. Collaborations such as duets or artists featuring another artist count as groups.

      • Exact year

        Write down the year the song was released. Score a point if you get it spot on.

        Note: The date on each card corresponds to the year in which the song was released, or the year in which the original artist first performed the song in public.

      • Name of the group or singer

        Write it down! In the case of collaborations, the name of the main solo artist will be accepted as correct.

      • Decade 

        Write down the decade in which the song was released, for example, ‘1960s’ or ‘Eighties’.

      • 3 years up or down

        Write down the year the song was released. Score a point if your answer is within 3 years of the actual year.

        ÁBENDINGAR:

        • A winning line can be horizontal, vertical or diagonal. Each scorecard has a different colour/category arrangement. Decide on the best strategy to get a line based on your musical strengths.
        • You can assemble the teams randomly, by age, by musical tastes or however you think will be most fun. But remember, the more varied your team, the better your chances of victory!
        • In the event of a tie, the game will continue between the tied players. The first one to take the lead wins. That is the first player to have the next answer correct.
        • Remember: you can also play HITSTER BINGO with cards from other HITSTER game versions. Cards are marked with a symbol to identify the corresponding game version, so if they get mixed up when playing, each card can always be returned to its box.

        Note: There is also the option to play without scanning the QR codes. If preferred, you can use any other online platform of your choice to play the music.

        Important: Players playing as the DJ should not use smartwatches (e.g., Apple Watch) while playing, as they may display information about the song on the screen.

        Battery information

        Using a suitable screwdriver, undo and remove the battery cover located under the unit. Insert the required batteries into the compartment ensuring they are installed the correct way around. The polarities are marked inside the battery compartment. Reassemble the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure. Do not overtighten

        Batteries should be inserted and removed by an adult. We recommend the use of alkaline batteries. Only use the type of batteries specified in this user manual, or equivalent type. Follow the polarity diagram inside the battery compartment and the polarity markings on the batteries. Inserting the batteries incorrectly may damage the product, cause battery leakage, or may even lead to battery explosion. Do not try to charge non-rechargeable batteries, as they may leak or explode. Replace all batteries at the same time. Do not mix new with old batteries. Do not mix different types of batteries (e.g. alkaline and zinc carbon) or re-chargeable (nickel cadmium) batteries. Remove the batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries from the product. Battery leakage and corrosion can damage the product. Do not short-circuit the supply terminals. Store batteries away from metal objects. Rechargeable batteries must only be charged under adult supervision. If using rechargeable batteries with a child-use charger, the child must be at least 8 years of age. Rechargeable batteries must be removed from the toy before being charged (if they can be removed). Do not dispose of batteries in fire, as they may leak or explode. Never disassemble batteries. If a battery is swallowed, consult a Doctor or Medical Facility. Don’t forget to take the product with you. If battery leakage occurs and comes in contact with the skin or eyes. wash immediately with lots of water. Do not immerse battery operated products. Wipe clean only. Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat source.
