Sister Sledge – We Are Family (1979)

The members of Sister Sledge are four real-life sisters whose last name is actually Sledge. They started their career as a backup band for other performers but eventually released their first album and the single “He’s the Greatest Dancer”, which made it into the top 10 in the US. However, their absolute biggest hit (from the same album) was “We Are Family”.
