Maria McKee – Show Me Heaven (1990)

Maria was born in Los Angeles in 1964. The city’s iconic landmark is of course the Hollywood sign. But when the sign was erected in 1923, it actually said HOLLYWOODLAND! This was because it was originally marketing for a new housing development. “LAND” wasn’t removed from the sign until 1949.
