Waiting for a star to fall
Did you know that...
A falling star is a meteor in the Earth’s atmosphere, travelling at approximately 72,000 km/h (more than 44,500 mph). The glowing “tail” of a falling star is created by the friction with the air. This is also what burns most meteors before they reach the Earth’s surface.
